There's a tavern on the next block, so you need never imbibe and drive.
We are a 20-minute walk (or 10-minute walk + <5-minute bus ride) to the Shoreline South Link Station, and are across the street from the Jackson Park perimeter trail, driving range, and golf course. The new Pinehurst Link station opens September 30, and is also about a mile away — a walk through Jackson Park, or a ride in a dedicated bike lane. South Woods park, popular with dog walkers, is also walking distance.
The new 77 bus also serves the new station, heading from there to either the U-District or Bitter Lake. The new 72 bus runs from the Shoreline South station to the U as well.
If stepping outside and grabbing a bus is more your speed, the 348 bus to the Northgate Link station stops across the street from us, with a stop just outside our pedestrian gate for traveling north, as far as Richmond Beach.
